We are not sure of the final paint colour chosen by the homeowner. I do know that it was a bright, crisp white though.

I love how the fireplace looks, what tile did you use?

It must not be required to have a raised hearth or even a hearth that is flush with the floor materail?

Fireplace: I'd like to know the tile dimensions used...looks like a 12" X 24" tile in the centre of each course, and each tile to each side of it a little smaller...perhaps 75% of the centre tile? I am planning to build something similar but am concerned about the tile size ratio. If each course is a 12" X 24" tile, this would make the total width 72" or 6' wide....maybe a little too wide for me.

Please, could you tell me what is the total width of this fireplace? Depth? Height? Thanks.
