Sewing Cabinet opening size

I have a new Babylock Crescendo sewing machine (equivalent to the Brother Dreamweaver I think?). Has anyone here bought a new cabinet for this size machine recently? My dealer says that a cabinet with a 24" opening is a very tight fit and that the cords have to be unplugged for the lift to raise/lower the machine. What are your experiences? I know Horn cabinets have a 25" opening, and I can get a Fashion Sewing Cabinet with a 27" opening. Thank you!

I don't know anything about your particular machine, and I use a sewing table into which my machine fits, not a cabinet, but I would say that anything that makes it easier to sew should be what you get. I would find it irritating to have to plug in or unplug the machine and foot pedal every time I wanted to sew or put the machine away. But that's just me. Congratulations on your new machine. I wish you many happy hours of stitching.
