last year i got two double impatiens plants from a nursery.

One white and purple.

They had great rose like flowers for a long time.

but something happend to the purple plant, it still has double flowers , but they don't look anything like a rose, it started producing flowers that look like a regular flower with a white crown.

The cuttings that i took from that plant also produce the changed flowers.

did anyone ever heard about something like that?

can i make my plant produce the rose like flowers as it used to?

i add a photo of the two plants the white that still make rose like flowers and the purple that makes strange new flowers.
