Thanks very much. I thought so but wasn't sure. I got it at the last Mounts plant sale and it came without a tag.

I have a lot of them in my PA garden. The butterflies love them there. I think our Florida winter home is too far south for them to do well for me here.

That one is looks to be Buddleja madagascariensis. It is a good one for central and southern FL as it is a subtropical Buddleja. It tolerates the heat and nematodes. It can get large, 6-8ft tall. But it flowers all year.

That's good to know, Eric, if I ever run across it.

Eric, thanks very much. I got it at Mounts in West Palm Beach so I thought it would grow here in Delray. I've moved it a couple of times since I wasn't sure what it was. Do you know if it needs full sun? Right now it gets sun in the morning until about noon, then shady/sun..

Full sun for best flowering. Its very drought tolerant once it is established.

Mine got 8 feet tall and almost as wide. I finally took it out, because I didn't allow enough space width wise. So be sure to give it plenty of room. :o)

The space is pretty big, so hopefully I can just prune it when it gets out of control. I've already moved it twice because I wasn't sure what it was. Hope it survives :)
