My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    I don't know the color or the supplier. However, I know that it is local to the DC metro area, and it is generally called a mica schist.

    The stone is lake george if I am not mistaken. It can be found at Irwin Stone

    That could be. But, Irwin is in Rockville. I think the builder probably got it at Tri-State, in Bethesda. Just my guess.
