I would choose a tone with some warmth to compliment the floors. Within that range, you have a lot of choices so take into consideration what else you want to compliment.

Hey there.

I think the Mauves and Greens would work nicely...

I have a few blog posts that may help you out.

Why not move in and see how your things live in the space? We have no idea what your furniture is and what style you are hoping for, what rooms are on the dark side, if you have curtains... If we say anything other than white, beige, griege or grey... we could be leading you astray! Yikes!

You should choose your paint color after your room is furnished. Most people do it backwards. Most any color will work with your floors.

I have the same color floors and just re painted. I did a lot of testing with different samples in different parts of my room and in different lights. Greys did not work with the floors as the contrast made the walls take on a bluish tone. I ended up painting mine Stone Hearth by Benjamin Moore which is a warm taupe color and works with most furnishings.

I believe a light, neutral blue goes beautifully with the red tones in the cherry wood. I would stay away from greenish blues, though.

I used greys and taupey greys

I'm going full on charcoal! Haven't really slept since they started painting but I practiced with BM's Forest Black in a small bathroom for a year before deciding to take the plunge.
