I wonder what brand were the stuffed grape leaves that were served? They were so good I'd like to get some more!
Does anyone want any of the recipes? I really liked one dish that I would like to have the recipe, but I can't really remember what was in it (I'm embarrassed to say) - It was a salad - I believe it was purple and kind of sweet. It was located at the end of the table farthest from the kitchen.

Might have been Cathy's coleslaw. She started making that with purple cabbage a while back. If that's it I can post the recipe, but I don't think it's anything hugely out of the ordinary.

Larry, I think you may be right - it seemed like a coleslaw. I can't have mayonnaise and I have been wanting a good recipe for coleslaw without it. And I did like this one. I would appreciate it very much if you would post it for me.

Recipe is very easy. Shred whatever vegetables you want along with the cabbage. I think this particular batch had red cabbage, jicama, and carrots. Normally we add sliced almonds, but I think she may have used a honey-roasted bag this time which may have sweetened it a bit. For dressing it's olive oil and vinegar.

When I eat this at home I mix in some goat cheese or crumbled feta, which I think adds a lot, but Cathy doesn't like either one of those.
