Never used it for that and never had one come loose. I use antiseize on the threads so I know I can get them loose.

Agree, antiseize or grease is all that's needed. Have't had one come loose in over fifty years. FWIW, whenever I need to take apart a "screwed" connection doing repair, I use antiseize, etc. when it goes back together, JIC.

Proper tightening of blade is all that is needed. Most mower arbors are set up so they will tighten instead of loosening, only now they set the tightening torque a little higher as Gov. requires blade brake on newer mowers to stop the blade quickly which could result in unscrewing blade IF not properly tightened.

Both Loctite and anti-seize will exclude air and water from the threaded connection. By excluding air and water, the threads will not corrode over time, which means that they can be taken apart at a future date, if that becomes necessary. If you plan on removing the blade a year or two, or a decade from now, then using either of these products will make your diy repair work go better.
