You may need to lower the soil pH some. Queen palms prefer soil in the slightly acidic range in order to be able to access nutrients and since yours is surrounded by patio this may be a problem for it. Not sure what zone you're in but a queen palm directly adjacent to a pool might not be a great idea, they are quite messy once they start flowering and fruiting,

I d say get another good looking palm around your pool, in my opinion queen palm is more like street tree not something you could enjoy looking at while taking a sunbath .
