I've seen those foil wrappers before. They look nice and neat but they basically don't let any water out. If you have watered recently, all the water is pooling at the bottom.

Take it out and see if that is the case.

Just removed the foil and there was no water in the bottom. Should I try repotting them? Is it possible they're already becoming root-bound?

I am far from being an expert but I can tell you what everyone told me when I brought home my first gift rose. Get it outside!!! There are very few people who can keep a rose alive inside. Your home is way too dry for a rose. Put in dappled shade for the first couple of days then slowly move it into more sun. A rose needs 6 hours of sun a day to grow. Make sure you keep it well watered but don't put a tray under it, the water must be able to drain out the bottom of the pot. You want the dirt to stay slightly moist.

There are actually probably 3-4 roses in that pot. Whether or not to try and separate them is up to you. You will find many people who will tell you on each side of the do/not do fence.

Certainly you can. I have roses in pots, 58 to be exact. The only drawback to container growing is the commitment required to keep them well watered.

i bought some similar packaged roses after val. day-.99 yay- the soil? is the worst ever, sopping wet or bone dry, roses very unhappy. i took them out of the pots, straightened out the roots, pulling most of the soil off and planted them outside after cutting off all the buds. now flourishing. good luck.

I put mine in a pot about 4 inches wider than the one it came in and it came back to life almost immediately. Roses are mean to be outside and don't like to have the roots restricted.

It needs to go outside, in the sun, weather permitting where you are. Yes, pot it up to a pot one or two sizes bigger than what it's in. Don't go to a huge one. They need to be potted up gradually. What ever pot you put it in make sure it has good sized drainage holes and do not put a tray or anything on the bottom of the pot. Keep it watered but not drowning and do not fertilize it until it shows new growth. Then start with a fertilizer at half strength only. These little roses can be planted right in the ground also. Depending on what zone you're in they may need some winter protection but they do quite well in the garden.
