Koi, it is wonderful. For myself, as a large Arabicum with such a large Caudex and concidering the length of time it would take for me to grow one that size.

It would be a shame to prune in anyway (for grafting or other).

If they are easy to come by in your climate, then this would be understandable.

Bong, yes I did the grafts myself. This arabicum dr is about fourteen years old. The original colour is normal pink. Pagan, this is the view of the whole plant. Rick, I did the grafts were because I was once told it is very difficult to graft arabicum because of its slow growth. Just to proof the critics wrong.

Koi, it is a beautiful shape. I can understand wanting to try your hand at grafting and especially something unique.

I grated a small Arabicum plant with a Swazicum scion and a Obesum plant with a Arabicum scion. Although they are not the size of yours. They both took and hope to see some good growth this summer here.

It is fun to try these things.

I am going to try some multiple grafts on one of my older plants this summer.
