I have a couple of volunteers showing up in last year's failed bed of red onion plants (my own fault), a few of the last of the small Copras from last year, and a number of missed bulbils from a bed of feral garlic bulbils I collected two years ago in my sister's backyard.

They are going to get an "orphan's bed" this afternoon. We will see what happens next. Part of the fun of it all...
