so today against all the rules i divided one of my allium globe master bulbs, and while i was oh-so-carefully digging it out i found quite a colony of what looked like little tiny allium seedlings. but globe master is a hybrid with sterile seed, no? ('ve read conflicting reports)
i found it in two places in my bed - immediately encircling one of the bulbs and then again blown a bit away. should i pot up and coddle these treasures (free alliums! i spent something like $40 for 3 of them from White Flower Farm!) or rip them out because they are something awful?
