Your seedlings look amazing, great job!! Some of the most amazing plumie blooms I have seen lately are from independently grown seedlings, so I can only imagine the gorgeous possibilities that you will have.

Thanks Ed and Freak4plumerias for the comments. I like the fact of knowing the plant since its begining , from seed to fruit. For the price of the seeds I find it worthy to wait , there is some chance of getting something spectacular!!

One thing I dont know is about the needed irrigation. At this stage the need a relative saturation but , any of you know when is time to water them less frequently?

Your seedlings look great, congratulations!! I agree, it's SO EXCITING to grow from seed, it's very addicting! I would say in regards to the watering that you should water like normal unless you are letting them go dormant for the winter or if your soil is just not drying out. What is the weather like in your area - what season are you in? At that age I wouldn't let the seedlings go dormant, I would keep them going their first year through the winter if possible. Please keep us posted on your progress!

and going up!!! Right now the majority of them just opened the cotyledons, except for a few that have also the first true leaves.

To Elucas101 : Hi , my climate is pure arid mediterranean, with 300mm/ year of precipitacions , warm winters and extremelly dry ,long and hot summers. I think I'm gonna space the waterings as soon as the stems get the the typical suculent kind consistency.

Hello buddies, I placed the seedling and five cuttings from last seasson outside. The weather is still a little bit inconsistent so I'll bring them inside during the nights for a couple of weeks.

Here comes some curiosities of the differences among all the seedlings.

This one stand up for its thickness

There are some aberrations aswell such as one cotyledon only and one leave instead of growing in couple, and one with double nervation.

I promisse I wont post anything more until major changes occur!!!

Here is my seedling. It is going pretty well, I changed the irrigation schedule. I have moved from spraying them a couple of times per days, to a bottom irrigation watering trhough capillarity each 48-72hrs depending of the evaporation. I sprayed them with imidacloprid, I know the possible disadvantages with the mites but It quite effective with aphids. Some of them have signs of iron malabsortion, if it doesn't change I will treat them with a defficiency corrector .

The general view, a couple of seed didnt sprouted after the initial germination but, as you can see the quantity is very good. I highly recomend BBB plumerias.

The vast majority show reddish veining and even the stem completely red.
