There is spur and cane pruning, can I know your variety though? Certain ones need cane or spur for better harvest

Ok, so I looked it up and it says spur or cane pruning, but also one says spur from a blog on here, so I would go with spur

I was more questioning what I had done as shown in the pictures. I have tried to follow the diagrams but hard to translate to what I was seeing.

It all depends on what support system you plan to go with. A grapevine climbing onto the garden arbor should be trained differently from a vine on a 6' Cordon system. From your photos, it appears there is no such support system, but some temp posts to support them. This is something you must decide first. The vine can't be supported that way. Your posts will fail...

I was hoping the posts spaces every 2 ft would support it. If not I would probably do a cordon to the fence. This will be the first year allowing fruiting.
