i want to know also. it's disappeared.

I had to put my list on my 'profile' that's the only place I could put it at all.

heres a copy and paste of something i put together to hopefully help newbies...
this addresses how to set up your messaging, but also how to find and edit your want. to see someone elses page click on their name and go to their profile page. but only some people have the option for viewing the trade list, idk why. maybe it doesnt show up till you go to the advanced settings and write something there...

Technical Help

PLEASE GO TO YOUR EDIT PROFILE PAGE AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS LISTED CORRECTLY.

Then go to ADVANCED SETTINGS

(located under “Account”on the left side of the “edit profile” page or athttps://www.houzz.com/settingsAdvanced )

Scroll down to "Privacy settings"

and select the option of “ALLOW ANYONE TO MESSAGE ME” under "Who can message me".

To add your growing zone:

Go to ADVANCED SETTINGS

Look for - Climate Zone for Garden Forums - and fill in your zone.

To make/edit your wants list:

Go to ADVANCED SETTINGS

-Then click on the box under “My GardenWeb Trading List”

-Type/paste in your seeds in a vertical list

(much easier to read than a horizontal list with commas between).

To access these settings:

if you are currently logged in, click on your name anywhere on the
site, or the “Your Houzz” button at the top right of any page.

Then go to ===> Edit Profile ===> Advanced Settings (located under “Account”on the left)

this is the page where you can edit your preferences, allow people to
email you, list your growing zone, and fill in your have/ want lists.

o oops...looks like since i wrote this it has changed???? ah...when i go to the place i could edit my list its no longer there.....ah well i tried to help =) maybe they shifting things around??????

I'm trying to find someone's trade list.

zzackey, you might have to turn on your Houzz email first, set it to "allow anyone" to email you through Houzz. When you click on someone's name, their page comes up and the GW trade list is there. ***When you click on your own name, you will not see it.*** To see yours, go up to the top right corner and click on Your Houzz.

Shew. I'm not liking this. GardenWeb used to be a great place, but since it's under Houzz now, everything has changed. They should have just left it alone, it was working fine.

Well, I'm glad it was picked up by Houzz after NBC got it and was ending it.

To see someone's trade list, just click on their screenname and their profile will appear with a link to their trade list.
