I use diluted urine also. It works like a charm. Figs do well in the salts that thrive in urine

This is the only fertilizer figs need? How often is it applied? Thank you for the information.

Eat a low salt diet and drink lots of water and dilute 4 parts water to 1 part urine. Eat tons of salt and drink rarely 15 to 1 water to urine. One a week should do fine

I often tell people that eating fresh veggies grown with their own urine extends their personal health and good feeling. They look at me as if I am nuts. I explained that when I saw how well my urine worked I started drinking more water. I noticed that some plants are salt sensitive so I went on a low salt diet. I considered taking in micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) so that I would have a better quality of urine. This is a cheaper than going to the plant shop and buying chelated what ever. I decided to eat more greens and high potency vegetables and fruits.

It isn't the salt in the urine that's figs thrive on. It's
the nitrogen. I feed my young trees I gallon every
other week diluted on a 5-1 ratio. Urine is 46% nitrogen
and that's all you need to feed them for the first four
years besides lime. Figs also like lots of lime.

The lower the salt content in the urine used the better for the fig tree. No plant thrives on salt. They tolerate it. Fig have a high tolerance level and can be exposed to more salt with out harmful affects. I suggest a healthy diet to those using their urine as fertilizer

How much lime will my figs need for this pot size? Is it applied yearly? Thank you for any help you can offer.

If you're only growing them in a pot, I wouldn't add very much. Figs
like a lot of lime, when they're in the ground.

What about powdered egg shell as fig tree feed. I have approximately 5 pounds slated for my 5 citrus trees. I don't need all of that and can seed some to my figs.

Since I stated to use Fish Fertilizer my fig trees in 1 gallon have come out of the containers...they need to be repotted ASAP.

You can get the Fish Fertilizer at Home Depot. I think it's just $8-... Very potent.

Urine is free and readily available. I beer plus 1 hour and here it comes. No gas burned, no ware and tear on the car.

I hear Tomato plants love urine because of the Ammonia in it.

Egg shells contain a lot of calcium, which is not what young fig
trees need. They need nitrogen more than anything. The calcium
would be better suited for tomatoes.
