One window master bedroom

Does anyone have any ideas for the wall behind our master bed? One window is making it very difficult

Here is another picture! Was contemplating painting the wall dark grey/black any thoughts?

I like the different lamps next to this bed. I don't even think you need the painting above the table lamp.

I would suggest a large rectangular mirror behind the lamp on the right. It will give the illusion of a window there as well and balance the wall. What a beautiful master room you have. A mirror like this behind the lamp would look very nie.

You need more pop of color. Change our your pillows on couch and bed for color, and the stripe blanket too. I would do a rectangle mirror to the right of the bed- maybe whaite to match it as much as you can to the window and put a curtain and rod like the one on the left. Color on the lampshades, replant the plants in colored pots... Change out your rug to one that goes from middle of bed to the couch. Those are ideas.....

Accent wall is only limited by your willingness to embrace something new! (Pic 2 is grass cloth and pic 4 a mural)

You are so fortunate to have all that beautiful natural light in your bedroom! Previous suggestions are right on. Go with round mirror over the bed and rectangular artwork over the night table. Alternatively, round piece of art and rectangular mirror. Will look terrific either way!!

I would put a tall narrow mirror over the night stand the same size as the window, and whatever art work I liked over the bed.

Thank you for all the great ideas! I've been changing bedding and accent colors in this room for 3 years now. Most recently I had the west elm chevron bedding (the accent pillow on the bed) with teal euro and accent pillows. Just bought the linen duvet and sheets from west elm and WE love it! Linen is great in that it looks nice even when a little wrinkly!

I think I am going to try a combination of suggestions! I just need to find the right pattern or wallpaper for the accent wall and a long mirror for the right side! I'll post pictures when completed!

I wouldn't do that wall as an accent wall. It will only serve to accentuate the asymmetry. Do the mirror behind the nightstand on the right side instead.

You also could use much taller lamps.

Before you jump into any of our suggestions, try this. Take out the end table on the right. Center bed on the wall, ignoring window. Put up the missing curtain panel on the window. Perhaps you can post a picture of this. Thanks!

miacometlady - I thought about this too but there's a door to the right of the bed. Seems like it would be difficult to open if the bed was centered on the wall. Maybe not?

It seems like an easy thing to try for a week. If you keep bumping your head (smile) go back to where it was, but if it is only a minor inconvenience, it may be worth moving bed. Give it a go for a week and come back to us!

There are days when I leave my bedroom I don't go back until nightfall. if this was a living/kitchen space then no way...
