I guess I should also say I'm in Katy, TX

I know some great pool builders in Houston. Pool Man Inc. , Houston Cool Pools, Sunset Pools, Laguna Pools. Hope that helps?

There are a few things to take into account when hiring a pool remodeling service. You may want to research the different services in your area and look at pictures of their work. See if you'd be satisfied with those jobs and if they match your style. Also ask for suggestions from people you know that have had their pools remodeled before. I hope everything works out, and happy swimming! http://www.whittiervillagepools.com

I remodeled my pool last year,it’s a hectic work. We read a lot of reviews and discussions before selecting one and finally decided on Solda pools .They are from oakville .Before selecting a builder make sure you have read reviews about them, go through pictures of their previous work, check whether they provide regular maintenance, etc . I’m completely satisfied with the service provided by my builder. Here is their website link if u want to refer http://www.soldapools.com/ .Happy remodeling.
