Hello Lori -- I normally don't think I'd recommend white for exterior shutters, but that's just what I'm envisioning in your case, that is if you're leaving the siding white.

As it is now, it's sort of a mostly-brick house with a large white hat. To bring the eye back down to the beautiful brick, I think the white needs to be distributed more across the ground floor -- and where the shutters on the left are in shadow, even more reason white works.

Landscaping that integrates with any welcoming color on the door says, "Come on inside." If it helps, choose a front door color that will work with your interior when it's open. Cute house! (Click to enlarge.)
