Thanks for asking! The hunt for the right sectional is always a challenge as I'm sure you're aware. So, instead, I designed this one and worked with my upholsterer during the build process to get exactly what I and my client wanted: a 'retro mid-century' feel with modern lines, curved corner piece (providing much better seating than a straight-line corner), eight-way hand-tied construction with turned legs, horizontal tufted back cushions, one curved end open with no armrest...utilizing Fabricut durable fabric. The extra wide arm-rest is designed to sit on when she's on the phone (for the views) and we added granite (matched to the kitchen) at the end of it for her drinks because we didn't have enough space to include an end table. We included a matching ottoman rather than an extended chaise on purpose. The sectional is actually only two pieces held together with 'slide-in' wood braces under each side (so it will never move) and is approximately 13' by 9'...but could be built as a three piece if I use the design again in a different setting requiring more versatility. By the way, we did finally find a perfect kidney-shaped cocktail table-- the little one in the pic was just used for the open house!
