The close-ups show the plantings, but not really the overall design. I would recommend living with the garden for a season to see what develops. Then you can better assess what you like and don't like about it before moving forward. Good luck.

The plant by your foundation looks like yarrow/achillea. It's a full-sun, drought-tolerant plant that grows to about 3-4 feet & flowers in the spring.

Then you can cut it back to keep it from flopping;

you'll need to put it where it won't crowd anything else.

As K & D said, it's a good idea to live in the space for a while before you start making changes, although I'd say more than a season;

some things won't appear in the first season you're in the house.

I do love the lushness of the lamb's ears, purslane, phlox, & columbine.

You can cut the columbine back after it flowers.
