Where in zone 7? Is this one an easy grower? any tips on cultivation?

dave, i garden in n. nevada at 5000 ft. carol is tough-with the right conditions. perfect drainage-mine is on a rise between 2 parts of the garden. humusy soil. either morning or afternoon sun. mine is protected from the wind. in va. it probably wouldn't need any extra water, i find it to be very water thrifty. the drainage, as with all daphnes, is probably most important.
