I found this growing in my back yard, but need help identifying what type of trillium this is. Thanks!

Trillium maculatum, found in the deep south.

Thanks! I'm in Chilton CO. I think it is maculatum. I will go out there tomorrow and see if any flowers are out there. I love that this beauty is growing wild out there!

What is the name of the plant in the lower right corner of the photograph?

To be honest, I am not sure. We just decided to let some stuff grow up to see what was growing to decide if we should hand weed the area or continue to weedeat the area. I am finding some really neat stuff out there. I will go back out there probably tomorrow to take a picture of that plant for you and see if I can't figure out its name.

I did get a picture of the bloom on the trillium.

Susan, I think the plant you wanted to know more about might just be wild grass.
