Well I hope your are planning on sharing of photo of this 20 year flower with us!!!!!

I don't have a digital camera unfortunately. The 1st bloom opened 4/29 and the 2nd on 5/1. Both are in excellent condition. I thought the blooms died out in a few days. The color is a pinkish peach maybe a touch of salmon. Very pretty!

Camera phone? Sounds pretty...we really thrive on photos!!

Depending on where you live and the temperatures the bloom is kept at, it could last up to 3 weeks. It's getting very warm where I am and blooms last about a week.

Yes the 1st bloom lasted 7 days the 2nd one is still looking good but it is on day 5 or 6.

I cut the 2nd flower off yesterday and then cut the stalk 2" above the bulb. I'll follow the directions I have and see if I can get it to bloom again one day sooner than 20 years from now. The dormancy period no doubts triggered the blooming so I'll do that again.

Try giving it some real light and you'll probably had some success.
