More bugs on my chilis

Still dealing with mealy bugs on my chilis, and now found this on the underside of a leaf on my gypsy pepper. Are they friend or foe? So far I only found one infected leaf, which I pulled off to take the picture. It seems to be 2 different kind of eggs?

Looks like a Sharpshooter egg case, sounds gross but I use my finger nail to crush these. The nymphs/adults are not good for your peppers, so I say they are a foe. Also, the difference in appearance may be that one case has already hatched.

I have never heard of sharpshooters I will do some research. Thank you! I pulled that leaf off, so far that's all I've seen, but I will keep an eye out for them.
