Thank you. I continue to have problems with Chili Thrips, so my whites are never flawless and my new growth is severely damaged. Wish me luck, especially since summer, the peak of thrips season, hasn't even arrived yet.

There's the proof that Veteran's Honor has the most beautiful bud form of all modern red HTs. Lovely colors in Heart O Gold.

Yay you also grow passiflora! I have a bunch of different varieties because I used to be really crazy about them lol. I really love your Koko Loco bloom. I need to get that one. What color of roses do you have your Koko Loco next to in the garden?

LOVE your Just Joey! This is my all-time most favorite rose, and the pic I chose for my avatar. Still makes my heart go pitter-pat when he throws one of those big gorgeous blooms!

I keep my passion vine going because it feeds the butterflies. They keep it under control for the most part. I also have a red variety in another part of the yard as a fence. I have Koko Loco in a mixed bed with other potted Dr Huey rootstocked roses. Her neighbors are JFK and Montezuma with Olympiad, Gold Glo, and First Prize taking up the rear.

My only complaint with Just Joey is it can me be a bit stingy, but the color is to die for.

It is definitely RMV. Unfortunately there are several bushes in my garden, sourced from the same place, that have RMV. For the most part they fare well and don't have problems. I try to keep them separated from the other roses, but as my collection has grown, this has been a challenge. I've had several conversations with people of varying levels of rose growing expertise, and the feedback is mixed.
