I have a small bathroom in my condo and I was planning to do an overhaul when I got my place last year but funding got eaten up by the kitchen.

With a modest budget ($1k-1.5k?) I'm thinking of getting rid of the 80's flower tiles that are currently in there and removing the shower curtain for something more mature and modern.

I have in my budget:

- Shower panel (with massage functions and etc.) (budgeted for $300 but can be a $100 fixture with waterfall effect)
- Frameless glass sliding door on top of the bathtub (At least $300CAD)
- Neutral tiles on the side with an accent wall facing the entrance (Majority of the cost; labour is DIY).

I've drawn what the layout currently looks like (not to scale) just to give you an idea.

I'm contemplating on the accent wall because I don't want to 'shrink' the bathroom by picking a dark color but that seems to be the only way to make that wall pop.

Do fellow Houzzers have an idea on what I can work with based on that layout?
