Hi, I have a bud on my container peony and am wondering if it will bloom without the assistance of ants, since it's on my balcony and they likely won't be able to find it. This plant is at least a month ahead of all the other peonies I see in my neighborhood because I brought it inside my apartment at the end of February since there was a below-0 temp drop in our forecast and I panicked. So far I haven't seen any negative effects, all three of my peonies are big and lush while everyone else's have yet to expand their leaves. But I am left with this big bud that is doing nothing.
