No shutters since there's not enough space for the proper size. I like your brick with what appears to be a soft white trim. The roof appears to be two different shades on my screen...is it just the lighting in the photo? The color of the front door is nice, but something else might provide more interest, such as BM's Tarrytown Green.

Black might be another color option for your door.

A much larger black light fixture outside the door could be striking!

I thought the same thing about the roof, whats going on there? as well I agree with Chloe there doesn't look to be enough clearance for shutters.

Could paint the garage doors the same colour as the mortar between the bricks to blend them in and then leave all the trim the white it looks nice now, pop the front door with something a little more modern. Black or a teal colour such as Venezuelan sea from BM

I agree with miacometlady regarding the door looking nice without the storm door. Are storm doors a real necessity? We live in Southern California, so please forgive my lack of knowledge in that area!

What lovely brick you have! As it's been mentioned in this thread, it doesn't look like there's enough space to have the appropriately sized shutters on your exterior.

When it is time to replace the roof, I would suggest a beige shade that is much lighter than the brick and use this beige color on the porch floor. I would suggest a white trim that will contrast from the beige. Then, I would agree with other posters about painting the door a bold accent color. It may be a decorating no-no to some people, but if you do want shutters, get beige that matches the roof color I suggested. You could add one shutter to the left of the left window and one shutter to the right of the right window in each pair of windows. Metal flower boxes that span the space under each pair of windows might help to tie the look together. It also would help to have a matching light at the left of the door.
