Hi all!

I've never paid much attention to deer and rabbits, because I had 3 big dogs. My last girl passed away last August and evidently they were more effective than I'd ever thought.

This year, something is eating my beautiful hosta, right at the ground level. They're ignoring the larger, taller leaves and going for the new stuff. I have so much damage!

I went around today and by hand, put hot sauce on the leaves and stems, but given it's supposed to rain, I'll probably have to do that again soon.

My question:
Is there any effective fencing or repellant that works on hosta, with rodent type eaters? I have a definite smorgasbord for these little .. ah... stinkers.

(Don't get me started with the deer this year, and my Japanese Maples! Just invested in some God-awful Hing Powder. Will report back...)
