I live in the lower Midwest, and I have grown a lot of irises over the past 10-15 years. As beautiful as they look in the catalogues and highly as some of them are touted, I seem to have little success with Keppel irises. Do any of the rest of you from either the lower Midwest or the upper South have similar problems? I planted a "Gypsy Lord" this past late summer, and it looks as though I'm not going to get a single bloom. All of the other iris I ordered look as though they will be blooming. [All irises were ordered from the same reputable vendor]. Is this just bad luck, or is there something to this constant problem I seem to be having.
