wondering if the cabinet space to the right of the stove (below the toaster oven) is lost space or is there a way to get into that space?

    You are correct. :) We did not want a lazy susan. Instead, we created a tall pull-out pantry to the left of the frig.

    Also, this corner space had restrictions due to a header behind the stove wall. BTW - I've seen many creative options for corner cabinets to store pots and pans.
