They were made by first locating the posts in concrete. Joist hangers were then located across the fronts of the steps. Each step was made like a small deck, the platforms were built of treated 2x8 and filled in so there was a maximum of 16inches on center. Finally, the risers and deck boards of a composite decking were installed.
