Sorry, I haven't a clue. I've had these for 5 or more years. I'm sure I got them at one of the BBS. Thanks for your comments. Do you have many African violets? I have maybe a dozen.

Big Box Store, I've gotten AV's at Lowes and Home Depot.

Oh geeze,,,big box store. Yep I shoulda known that acronym! I shop at Lowe's and Meijer for mine. Don't have a Home Depot or anything else that carries violets around here. Thank goodness for swaps and trades in this group!!!!! Rosie

Oh speaking of Home Depot, there is one about 25 miles from me in a direction I never go anymore. They have the outdoor plants in the spring. Years ago they used to have the indoor plants just like Lowe's but they stopped that. They haven't had an indoor plant for many years now. And when they did have them apparently they didn't hire anyone to take care of them. If you weren't there the day they came it,,,,,well that is when the "countdown to demise" as I called it began. I would try to rescue the ones I wanted but,,,,,,,,,. The store itself is nice. Just like anyother big store except they always had issues with their indoor live plants! (not the outdoor ones, just indoor.) Rosie

Most places are 25 miles from me LOL! The HD I have been using has lots
of indoor plants right now, including Haworthia limifolia! I picked up 2!
I've not seen any variegated African Violets though. My one and only
variegated currently has no roots (due to rot issues) and I'm trying to save it.
But I've been looking for a "spare" in case I can't save this one.

Variegated are few and far between. I happened to get an Optimara Tradition Victorian Series in 2014. When our furnace went out and it got really cold in here she was damaged. Along with a lot of others. She only has 2 rings of leaves on her and she is struggling to recover. I think she will as she is looking better now. I hope so because she is a beauty!!!!! Rosie
