Dingdong, where your plants in pots or in the ground? If you lost many plants due to virus, do you have a plan in place to "protect" any new plants? (ie, growing indoors [not a guarantee] or under screen, or use of a systemic insecticide).

Hi Kristi, I had my plant in pots. I gave one of my very old dancing queen to my cousin and it had 3 flower spikes. It was the first time i seen something like that. Even thought it has virus, that bulb is still humongous. I have to get rid of most of them except only 2 red lion that my mom gave me years ago. I was going to give up on amaryllis but after looking at all the cross n this forum, i want to try again.I plan to use the systemic insecticide this time.
