Sounds like it is bacterial leaf spot. The best way to control it is to remove the affected foliage and keep the bed cleaned up. Make sure the foilage has adequate air flow. At this point there is not much you can do to stop it. it will not harm the irises, just make the foliage ugly.. Next spring when the irises first start growing you can start spraying a fungicide to keep it under control.
