Adeniums can take a good amount of heat. Mine get a full dose of the southwestern sun, and are very happy. I'd be more concerned about how cold it gets. I try to not let mine get below 50. Also, what kind of soil do you have that plant in? It needs to be a very well draining mix.

I made some of the Al's Gritty mix after looking through the forums. I went to a local garden store with the list of ingredients and they got everything together for me, because that was new to me too! I originally had it in the Miracle Gro cactus mix, then read that was a bad idea! I have been putting it outside during the day and bringing it in at night. Is it normal for any of the roots to have a small amount of softness? I noticed that one of the bigger roots is just not as hard as the others. It's very minimal, but when I read about root rot, I wanted to check it by gently pressing to make sure it wasn't soft.Everything else looks good. I just got so paranoid! Sorry about the sideways photo. I'm not sure why they post that way.

Take all photos in landscape mode (not portrait mode). Bottom of your phone to your right. Then you will never have a problem with orientation.
