Dimensions don't seem right

The difference in overall vs recessed width is 6 inches, but the difference in overall vs recessed height is only 2 inches.... Something really doesn't seem right. Can someone please tell me the size of hole i need in my wall to accommodate this piece?
Thank you!

The part of the cabinet that you don't see that will be hidden by the wall has a different set of dimensions than the part that you see on the outside of the wall. Restoration Hardware recommends professional installation. You can have your contractor create the correct opening for it. Here is the link to the product that also has 2 pdf documents associated with this product:

    Thanks Rhoda,
I am aware that there are different dimension for overall (outside of the wall) and recessed (inside the wall). However I'm just not sure I believe them. It doesn't seem right that the difference in overall and recessed height can only be 2 inched yet the difference between overall and recessed width is 6 inches.

    Thanks,
    Alan
