Good idea or weird?

We just got an offer accepted on a new-to-us house. It has an 18" trash compactor to the left of the sink and a regular 24" DW to the right. There is another pull out double trash in the island, right across from the compactor.

Would it be an awful idea to replace the 18" trash compactor with an 18" DW? We have a big extended family and entertain a lot so I have always wanted 2 dishwashers.

I don't know if this will look very odd though? The standard size DW is a stainless Thermador and it doesn't seem like I would be able to get an 18" to match exactly, so would a paneled one be the best option? If I could find a cabinet panel somehow?
