Parviflora

I received H. parviflora a few years ago as a cutting. I actually have TWO with that tag, and they are so completely different, I need to know if I have two DIFFERENT species or possibly two different clones. I know there is also a species called parvifolia - I can't tell from photos if they are at all similar... Here's a photo of the two side-by-side...

Now, no comments about the size! LOL! I've had both a LONG time and both have not done particularly well (obviously!) But I can see it in the cards that THIS is the year for them both. They're both super perky and looking better than ever, and the bigger one has new growth on it.

So leaves on the left (closer) one are about 1/2" wide and 1.25" to not quite 2" long. The leaves are more textured - veins somewhat prominent, very succulent. The leaves on the right one are a tiny bit narrower, about 3/8", a few short ones are about 1.25" long, but most of them are about 3" long. Leaves are a darker green, more of a "rubbery" feel than succulent (but they do seem to become more succulent with age...) and there is no distinction in the veins. Now I know that you really have to see flowers to know for sure, but from photos, I would say the one on the right is the REAL parviflora. But what might be the one on the left? If it wasn't so much smaller, I'd say it was pallida, but it is significantly smaller than that. Any ideas??
