I have this air plant which I've had no luck identifying by searching online. The trichomes are very pronounced and silvery, and the stem is the strong, woody type up the center.

When I got it, it was looking pretty sad, but I've been taking great care and now he's perking up and very silvery/soft coating on all the leaves, though the leaves are very stiff, almost like branches.

I have about 15 air plants but this guy is unique to anything I've seen, please help me identify so that I can take the best care possible!
