Restoring this 1922 Home

Hi

Does anyone know the the style of this home?

I am re-building the porch now, but will need to power wash and re-paint the entire exterior.

I am looking for some nice color combos.

I would venture to say it is a craftsman style bungalow. Note the similar treatment of trim under roof line. There are many you can look online for inspiration to take this home back to its former glory!

Craftsman bungalows are gorgeous, classic homes. You might want to look at some of the historic paint schemes that were used when they were new. There are many "Bungalow" books now for restoring both exteriors and interiors.

Old home renos are fun. Discovering old newspapers and magazines used as insulation and weird nooks and crannies.

This is a California Bungalow circa 1925.

Refined and popularized in California, the first California house dubbed

the early 1890s.

There are color combos from Sherwin Williams for craftsman style homes in the America's collection that are beautifully done

It's only daunting if you try to finish it in a weekend! Smile. Good luck and keep us posted! Hope there are period features inside.
