I have a jewelry armoire that works great, the sides open like the one below and is deep enough for my chunky necklaces.

There are also some fun DIY projects to both organize and display your jewelery. Think picture frames with cork, ribbons, wallpaper, drawer pulls and shadow boxes. It's really nice to be able to enjoy your jewelery even when not wearing it. I find that I wear more of my jewelery when I can see it all attractively displayed.

I use an S-shape towel holder for my necklaces and a bracelet holder for my cuffs and bracelets. Keeps everything organized and easy for me to see

I have a small rectangular mirror with a ledge and 4 hooks on the bottom portion...I hang all my necklaces on there. It sits above my dresser and I keep small bottles of perfume/body spray on the ledge- it works great.

I think I got it at Kohl's or Target years ago....

We turned a built in niche into a jewelry area in our daughter's room with just some hooks we bought at Home Depot (pic attached). This could be done on a flat wall, too, it doesn't have to be a niche. She's moved out now, in a tiny Manhattan apartment and loves using the over-the-door jewelry armoire which is also a full length mirror. Those things hold a ton! Though for the necklaces, she also uses a closet pull out hook thing that we got at IKEA (their Komplement line). I would highly recommend these options. I use a free-standing jewelry armoire which is pretty good, too, though my collection of chunky necklaces is not nearly as large.

i bought a small decorative towel bar, and hang necklaces on it, Two s hooks on either side for bracelets. Hung a piece of art work above , I get tons of compliments.
