New fireglow JM.. Spots on leaves? *pic*

I planted a 5 ft fireglow two weeks ago.. Since then it's developed spots the leaves.. I've watered it every two days.. Soil is fairly well drained. See pic above..also have included a pic of the base. It looks a little orange. I think it's because it was planted too deep in its pot, which I corrected when I put it in the ground, by making sure the root flare is above grade. The orange colored parts, we're underground for who knows how long.. Also, the trunk in this pic is wet, bc I JUST watered it, therefore the colors look even more dynamic... Thanks
