When one one sprinkler on a line is converted to drip, the guideline is to convert, or cap off, all the others on the same line.
If not, the converted line typically blows apart when the system is turned on. But I haven't heard of the problem you're having.

I've capped off the other line. There is only 2 outputs to that line. One I converted to drip, the other is capped.

When you pressed reset, did you reset the whole controller?

Also, just because the wiring looks okay doesn't mean that it is. You need a multimeter to test your circuit board, wiring, and solenoids. Did you do any digging during your work?
