I have odd question

I have a drive that goes behind my house to my studio, it's use a dozen times a year. Coming back from the studio the last part of the drive is sandy steep grade (really steep) about 150 ft long, about the last 30 ft at the top is all sand. The rest is stabilized by growth. Well The problem is the last 30-40 ft that's sand. It gives me bad traction and can stop me from getting to the top so I have to back down and take another run. I want to add something but don't know what. It's got to come in bags that I can handle and for as little as I use it , I don't want to spend much at all. I drive the same track every time so all I want to do is just stabilize the track not a complete surface. Any thoughts anyone. I'm not interested in paying for a truckload of anything, it's to much. Actually physically I couldn't spread it..
