No direct feedback, but 3 friends that have them and love them. I am also looking at the induction cooktop, but want a Gaggenau oven.

rococogurl. That sounds like you are talking about the convection steam. Oven. I guess i should have indicated induction cooktop and electric convection oven.

Rococogurl is referring to the Regular Oven. The combi setting is not steam but the ability to combine different elements like the broiler and the bottom element for Pizza for instance. I have a Miele 30" induction cooktop and should be installed in a few days. I also have a Miele gas Wok burner.

    Good luck!

I have a 30" wall oven. I amended to say "combi heat settings". Not to be confused with the new range convection oven with steam or the combi oven which is a different unit I do not have, at least not until my main micro dies.

In our last two homes, over the past 14 years, we have had Miele Full size and SpeedOvens. LOVE them. Delay Start is one of my favs. Relatively fast preheat times, incredibly intuitive controls, even heat and very versatile!!

homepro01:. Feedback please on your Miele Induction Cooktop that you have had a few weeks?

    Lexi65,

It was finally installed on Thursday. I have not cooked on it yet as I am out of the area for a few days. I can give you more feedback next week. I know it was used it to heat some water and everyone commented on how fast it was! The plumber is coming next week to put in the gas line redo for the gas burner.

    More to come soon!

homepro01 - can you opine yet on your miele induction cooktop? Thanks!

    Hi Lexi,

I can start. I have not been home much since it was installed. It is a great unit! The speed is unbelievable. I turn around and water is boiling for pasta. The weather has been pretty hot here lately and it is wonderful to cook without additional heat.

What would you like to know?

I made risotto the other day and it was wonderful to use. I used like a setting of 2 or something like that. As much as I like the power, you have to be ready to cook something to turn it up to a 9. That is the burn mode on food. I am going to purchase a flat bottom work to try it out. My woks are currently round bottom. Being able to instantly turn off the power is also great! That stops the cooking in most vessels almost instantly. I don't notice any buzzing at this time. I am using Le Creuset, Demeyere and All Clad D5 cooking vessels. I have not made Chicken stock with the pressure cooker yet but will probably do something over the weekend.
