Funny you should say that deee as my Mac has slowed down and I don't log off when I leave this page. Going to see what happens when I do.

My computer has been slow to load pages and I also have not logged out of Houzz. I just logged out and tried several pages and it was SO much faster. Thanks so much. Yes, something is slowing us down when we stayed logged in. I am logging out all the time now.

I notice that almost every time I click on Houzz (from one of my bookmarks) after turning on my computer, it hangs up my browser for a few seconds, even before I log in.

I haven't noticed.
I have my history scheduled to clear my cache/history once a week and every time I turn off my computer. That could be why I'm not seeing a noticeable difference.

I go to many different and questionable websites for work so I clear my cache and history multiple times a day. I don't normally sign into Houzz as my first page visit but I did today and noticed that every page after Houzz was much slower than usual.

hmmmm, I wonder what it can be then. I'm assuming you're on a regular computer or laptop. Have you tried using a different search engine? Do you find the forum via Houzz's home page? It could be search engine or the way you enter the site. Houzz has so much more to download than Gardenweb did, I access the site by googling GW, and then I click into home decor in the results, I never go in via Houzz's home page.

I have the Home decor page on GW bookmarked or come to it via an email comment alert.

Sorry, Lukkiirish, I had already been clearing all that you suggested several times a week. It didn't help until I logged out of Houzz!
