I've seen other posts where people swear by storing their Caladium bulbs in their containers, rather than digging and storing. Just curious as to how you do this. I'm assuming you just bring the container in and stick it in the basement. However:
1) Do you have to water the caladium containers at all or just let them stay dry?
2) Do you think having a dehumidifier will cause any problems?
3) Would a basement temperature of around 50 to 60 (it's not conditioned) be okay?

Finally, does this work with other bulbs as well, begonia's for instance? Would love to have them, but I know I wouldn't have the time to dig and lift them if necessary.
